Raise your hand if you can’t believe it’s December. My hand is raised … both of them. We started this year off with an incredible post about imitating Jesus. That theme became a central focus of the blog this year. We memorized and meditated on verses that helped us glorify God, be humble, forgive, and love–all ways to imitate Jesus.
And here we are at the end of the year. It would be easy to try to coast the rest of the year, getting through the holidays and then renew focus for the first of the year. But I would argue that this is the month that needs to see us imitate Jesus the most of all. It’s the time of year that we commemorate His birth. We even see His name everywhere to remind us to focus on Him–Merry CHRISTmas.
