I aim to make this post short and sweet, but I definitely wanted to communicate a couple of personal notes at this time.

Though I have loved the challenge of writing weekly on re:flect-I, I have often struggled to keep on posting. Oftentimes, I am sitting at home on Friday mornings typing with a baby on my lap and PBS entertaining my littles so I can finish a post. I know there are many grammatical issues that have resulted from that fact. lol.  It has certainly been a work God has provided grace for me to do: something I could do from home, yet still reach out to others outside my home. Every time I would wane, there would be some source of encouragement telling me to press on. I am thankful for the challenge and joy it has been! Really thankful!

But it seems best for me at this time to take an extended break from the blog as we anticipate another baby joining our family in January. It is sad for me, but I know it is needed for my family as well as my own health and sanity. ๐Ÿ™‚

I want to thank Wendy for sharing this blog freely and generously! She has been so supportive, and just has an huge heart. Thank you, Wendy!

Finally, I do not need any feedback from this farewell. I only want to explain to our readers why I won’t be posting and that I am grateful for YOU. I pray we will all continue to be strengthened in our faith in Christ and that re:flect-I will continue to serve as a help in that way.

I may yet post occasionally–just not regularly. So this is not good bye, but rather see ya later!

With lots of love, Erika ๐Ÿ™‚
