I wonder…
Will I ever get into a good routine this fall?

Will God give me all I need to mother today?

Are my children going to walk with the Lord?

Will God really answer my prayer for my friend’s baby?

What will we do about my husband’s job?

How will God ever repair such a broken marriage?

Will I ever be free from pain?

Do others even like me?

How will I ever have victory over this sin?

I know…

that I am to fear not…

“for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41: 10

that I cannot lean on my own understanding…

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  Proverbs 3: 5-6

that God is my refuge…

“Truly, He is my rock and my salvation, He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”  Psalm 62: 2

there is peace in the unknown…

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You.  Trust in the Lord forever for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”  Isaiah 26: 3-4

that nothing can separate me from God…

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 8: 38-39

this trial or fear or unknown circumstance is to help me depend fully upon God…

“Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead…” 2 Corinthians 1: 9

that God is working and working even when I can’t see it or fathom it…

“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”  Philippians 1: 6
