(Hey friends……sorry about the repeat speaker spotlight this morning!!)
My friend, Julie Morgan…this is who you get to meet today as we continue looking at the various speakers of the upcoming re:garding HIM women’s conference.  God has shown Himself mightily in Julie as she has faced some of the hardest things you’ll ever find yourself facing.  God has given Julie (not to mention her husband, Darren) a tremendous amount of faith that glorifies Him as they persevere joyfully.  Truly, you do not want to miss her testimony that day.

Love, Wendy

Featured Testimony on God’s Faithfulness

What three words that start with the first letter of your first name describe you?

Justified, Joyful, Jubilant (J words are hard to come up with!)

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A rich doctor.

Where in the Bible are you reading this summer?

Going through a book called “You are Loved” by Sally Clarkson and Angela Perritt. It looks at the topic of God’s love for His people throughout the Bible.

What has God already showed you about your topic?

I would say that God has shown me NO MATTER WHAT I AM GOING THOUGH, His faithfulness is complete, full, all-surrounding.  Even when things seem totally out of whack and crazy, God has it all put together perfectly and He provides everything I need to get through crazy life circumstances (and the non-crazy things as well!).

What book have you read this past year that has changed you?

“Evidence Not Seen” by Darlene Deibler Rose.  It reminded me the importance of memorizing scripture because you never know when you may not have access to the written word of God.  Plus, the importance of prayer – even about what we see as “little things”. God cares about every aspect of our life.

What breakout sessions would you like attend?

I have no idea… I want to go to them all!

What blogs and websites do you often click?

Girltalk, Femina, All Day I Dream About Food

Describe your perfect day.

Waking up on my own (no alarm clock), taking a long hot shower, enjoying a cup of coffee and some quiet Bible reading on the deck of my parent’s lake house, then having my kiddos wake up and enjoying the day at the lake with my family together….Pancake breakfast, boat ride down Grass River, tubing, ice cream, grilled food for dinner, and some reading together as a family from a great book (with my husband reading). Perhaps a movie and popcorn before bed as well!

Share a piece of marriage/friendship/child-rearing wisdom.

Be consistent but don’t take yourself too seriously…. laughter is a good thing!

What was the first concert you attended?

Paul Simon, Graceland album

How do you stay in touch with friends?

Phone calls, e-mail, visits, text messages, and (sad to admit it) Facebook.

How do you incorporate prayer time into your life?

I pray every morning in the shower.  Right now I have Ps 139 posted in my shower so I pray through sections of that for 2 friends of mine.  I also pray throughout the day for various things.  We also pray together as a family at night – each of my kids has someone specific that they tend to pray for and it is neat to see those prayers get answered for all of us!

What music gets you pumped?

Third Day!
