How much does Christ mean to you?  Is He everything to you?  Are you content in Him alone?  I think I might have answered these questions differently at the beginning of the year than I would now.  This year has been a challenge in different ways for all of us, and it’s been under these circumstances that we are approaching the end of another year.  This year has passed by at warp speed.

There’s good news, though, because Jesus never changes.  And I love how Revelation says it:

And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.”  Revelation 21:6

He is the Alpha and the Omega, beginning and the end, and He satisfies those who thirst.  We’re about to turn the page of another year.  Praise God that He can be everything to us and that we can be content in Him alone.  May we grow in that and may we realize the end is just an opportunity for a new beginning.  And Christ is at both ends and in the in-between parts.

Love, April
